About me…

Hello!

Welcome to my practice, and thank you so much for trusting me with your story. My hope, as your therapist, is to foster a collaborative relationship that will encourage you to write the next chapters of your life.

In our conversations, I will learn about you and your hopes for your future in order to support you, challenge you, and help you make the changes that will highlight the parts of yourself you wish to share with the world.

I provide culturally competent care and believe that everybody deserves therapy that is welcoming, accepting and informed. My work is heavily based on supporting people from various cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences and I believe it is my responsibility to do homework and research about those cultures and background so that my language and care is reflective of my commitment to safety and inclusion. My practice is LGBTQ+ welcoming and informed , and I have extensive experience working with the Latinx community. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently and offer services in all three languages. I studied English and Psychology at the University of California, Davis, and went on to get my Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of New Hampshire. I am licensed through the Board of Behavioral Sciences (License #413631).

My practice is heavily influenced by Attachment Theory which informs my Emotionally Focused Therapy and Narrative approach. I believe that your story is yours to write and curate and wish to help you enact interpersonally effective behavior in order to cultivate long lasting, meaningful relationships with those you love.

I look forward to working with you.
